MCMURRAY, Pa. -- Memorial services for Dr. Alfred Lee Sorensen, 70, McMurray, Pa., will be held Saturday, Sept. 17 at First United Methodist Church in Harlan at 1:30 p.m. Sorensen died June 23, 2005 at his home in Pennsylvania. A former Harlan resident and member of the 1953 graduating class at Harlan High, he is survived by his wife, Sandra, of McMurray; sons Gregory (Galena) of Tulsa, Ok. and Eric of Pittsburg, Pa.; three grandchildren; and sister Mary Sorensen-Mitchell of Ouray, Co. Private family services will be held at the Harlan Cemetery prior to the memorial service.
