He was born in Harlan. He graduated in 1935 from HCHS. He was a farmer. Member of Odd Fellows, Golden K Kiwanis, Builders Club, volunteer work Meals On Wheels. His wife, Delores Bristol Conrad, preceded Mr. Conrad in death. Survivors include sons, David Conrad and wife, Nancy, of San Marcos, Calif., Randy Conrad and wife, Sandy, of Harlan, Delmar Conrad and wife, Jeanette, of Fullerton, Calif., Mark Conrad of Harlan; special friend, Wilma Havick, Harlan; brother, Dewey Conrad, of Harlan; sister-in-law, Lenora Conrad, of Harlan; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Open visitation 2 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 29 at Pauley Jones Funeral Home and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 30 with family greeting friends from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Swinton officiating.
