COUNCIL BLUFFS -- Charles H. Soar, 85, Council Bluffs, died Friday, Sept. 9 at Bethany Lutheran Home. Services were held Monday, Sept. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Henry Livingston Funeral Home in Council Bluffs with burial in the St. Joseph's Cemetery at Council Bluffs. Soar is survived by his wife, Margaret, of Council Bluffs; daughters Joyce (Richard) Christensen of Council Bluffs, Kathleen (Robert) Binderup of Omaha, Barbara (Mike) Nielsen of Council Bluffs, Pat Mooberry of Council Bluffs and Lorrainen (Geofrey) Thiele of Omaha; son Ernie (Julie) Soar of Council Bluffs; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
