Lacey, born Mar 15, 1856. He married Emma Catherine Harris on July 11, 1878, and they had 6 children, the last 2 of which died young and Emma died just after childbirth, as well... leaving my grandmother, Sylvia Edith Lacey, age 12, to raise the others. Apparently WAE remarried, and my Mom remembers a trip back to Iowa with Sylvia to visit him and his second family. I have considerable detail on Emma Catherine's family tree back to 1760, but nothing on ancestors of the Lacey family -- would appreciate any info you can provide. I believe Sylvia's brother Oscar Wayne Lacey's family now lives in the Ozarks...
