She was born in Stuart, Iowa. She graduated in 1932 from Avoca High School. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Everett Piittmann, preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include daughter, Nancy Kelly, of Hancock, Iowa; son, Randy Piittmann, of Oakland; grandsons, Troy Walker of Hancock, James Piittmann of Omaha, Neb., Andrew Piittmann of Oakland and Eric Piittmann of Hancock; brother, Clyde Frahm, of Walnut, Iowa. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home - Avoca Chapel. Funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca with Pastor Bichel and Pastor Rinde officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Avoca, Iowa.
