Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Defiance with burial in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. A wake service will be held Friday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Defiance. Family greeted friends Thursday, Feb. 13 from 7-9 p.m. at Pauley Funeral Home, Harlan. Visitation continues Friday, Feb. 14 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at Pauley's and from 6-9 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Wilwerding is survived by daughters Joan (Dick) Munchrath of Omaha and Mary Lou (Frederick) Fortey of Monument, Co.; sons Bob (Luella) Wilwerding of Defiance and Alan (Kathy) Wilwerding of Defiance; brothers The Rev. Wilfrid Tunink of New Mexico and Jerry (Lita) Tunink of Elgin, Neb.; sisters Thresia Tunink of Storm Lake, Loretta (Joe) Zegers of Petersburg, Neb. and Maryann Kloewer of Fremont, Neb.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. ©The Harlan Tribune 2003
