Adam Stephen Reisz, 88, of Earling died Jan. 30 at Myrtue Memorial Hospital. Reisz served as a Catholic priest in parishes in Lenox, Bedford, Dunlap, Woodbine, Magnolia, Panama, Pisgah, Portsmouth, Des Moines and Westphalia. Rev. Reisz was born in Elmer, Minn., and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Panama. He attended Dowling College in Des Moines, St. Louis Prep Seminary in St. Louis and was a graduate of Kenrick Seminary in St. Louis. Reisz is survived by two sisters, Catherine Stinn of Panama and Elizabeth Steffen and her husband, Norbert, from New Hampton. Visitation with family will be today from 3 to 5 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home. Funeral service will Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with Bishop Joseph L. Charron, C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Panama. A wake service will be held tonight at 7 at St. Mary's of the Assumption in Panama. Pauley Jones Funeral Home is charge of the arrangements.
