Cade ©Daily Nonpareil 05/26/2006 Edith A. Cade, 88, of Oakland, Iowa, formerly of Walnut, passed away on May 25, 2006, at Oakland Manor. Edith was born September 15, 1917, in Walnut and graduated from Walnut High School. She was a line typist for the local newspaper. She is preceded in death by her husband, M. LaVerne Cade. Edith is survived by daughter, Karen (Dick) Andersen of Harlan, Iowa; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grand- children; 2 step-great-grand children. Visitation will be Friday, 2-8p.m. at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Walnut, Iowa. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home in Walnut as well. Inurement will follow at the Layton Township Cemetery.
