Jenson ©Daily Nonpareil 05/14/2006 Mabel M. Jenson, 99, of Underwood, passed away May 11, 2006, at Woodlands Rehab Center. She was born April 27, 1907, in Underwood to the late Emma (Jensen) and Henry John Young, Sr. In 1928 she was united in marriage to Hans C. Jenson and together they farmed in Neola, Bentley and Underwood areas. She was a member of Underwood Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984; sister, Florence Jenson and brother, George Young. She is survived by her sisters, Elsie Liddell of Springfield, Mo., Joyce Smith and her husband, Ralph and brother, Henry Young and wife, Dorothy, all of Council Bluffs. Many nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. at the Underwood Lutheran Church, Rev. Dale Jenson, her nephew and retired Lutheran Pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the Grange Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the church. Memorials may be offered to either Underwood Lutheran Church or Asera Care Hospice, Council Bluffs.
