Descended from ROBERT MCCOID who was born 1780 in Clough, County Down, North of Ireland. He married PEGGY UNKNOWN. She was born Abt. 1791 in North of Ireland. There child John McQuoid/McCoid came to NZ on 17 March 1840, arrived in Kororakeka, Bay of Islands with family on "Westminster", aged about 26 & arrived 15 September 1840 to found Auckland on "Anna Watson" Let me know if this connects with your information
