Herbst ©Daily Nonpareil 05/01/2006 Kerry A. Herbst, age 64, of Omaha, passed away April 29, 2006. Kerry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was an avid golfer and craftsman, and was loved by many. He was preceded in death by father, Victor; and sister, Julie Herbst. Survived by wife, Marilyn M. Herbst; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Lisa, Mark, Paul and Heather, all of Omaha, Jeff and Annette, of Cape Cod, Mass.; 7 grandchildren; mother, Gladys Herbst, of Council Bluffs; sisters, Victoria Draper, of Omaha, Joan Gubbels and husband Joe, of Council Bluffs, Susan Murphy, of Lenexa, Kan., Michelle Conway, of Madison, Wis., Joyce Krula and husband Gary, of Sacramento, Calif.; brothers, David Herbst and wife Rita, of Chicago, Ill., Mike Herbst, of Lenexa, Kan., Robert Herbst, of Omaha. Visitation will be Monday from 3 p.m at West Center Chapel, with family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m., visitation at church on Tuesday after 10 a.m. Vigil Service will be Monday at 7 p.m. at West Center Chapel. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 114th and Fort.
