Mrs. Harms died Aug. 25 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1910, near Soldier to Albert and Martha (Meseck) STOLL. She attended country school in the Soldier area. She worked on the farm with her parents. She farmed with her husband near Solider and in 1941 moved to a farm West of Dunlap. Later she moved to California before returning to the Onawa area. Mrs. Harms was preceded in death by her first husband, Sigurd Navrude, on March 19, 1953, her second husband, Guy Rohrer, and her third husband, Levi Harms, on March 15, 1988. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Harlan. Survivors include one daughter, Marlene Agosta, and husband, Chuck, of Omaha; four sons, Harold Navrude and wife, Shirley, of Woodbine, Norman Navrude of California, Delbert Navrude and wife, Lois, of Woodbine and Harry Navrude and wife, Jane, of Blair, Neb.; one sister, Esther Moltsau, of Onawa; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Paulk was an avid tennis player and promoter of community parks and courts, and he had an independent certified appraisal service. Woodard WOODBINE - The funeral for Glenn S. Woodard, 93, of Woodbine will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Followers of Christ in Woodbine with Elder Francis Harper officiating. Mr. Woodard died Nov. 24 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital. He was born in Dunlap Dec. 13, 1908, to Sylvester Alexander and Cora Lee (Crandall) Woodard. He attended country school near Panama. He and his wife farmed near Dunlap and then moved to Nebraska and farmed there for one year. Then they moved to Odgen, Utah, where he worked in the poultry business. They moved back to a farm near Moorhead and then to Woodbine where they purchased their own farm. He also worked for Good Shepard Home in Omaha, Midcontinent Cold Storage in Omaha for 13 years and as the groundskeeper at Missouri Valley Schools. He retired as a groundskeeper in the late 1980s. The last number of years he worked for Pryor Auction in Woodbine. Survivors include one daughter, Donna Kester, of Harlan; one son, Dale, of LaPorte, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Fouts Funeral Home Inc. in Woodbine. Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery. (submitted by Vicki King)

Mr. Oppold died Nov. 17 at Dunlap Care Center. He was born in Panama. He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Panama. He served in the Army Corp of Engineers during World War II. He was proprietor of a hardware and lumber store. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. He was a former mayor and member of Panama Town Council and Panama Citizen of the Year in 1971. He was an adjutant of American Legion post No. 601 of Panama. Mr. Oppold and his wife, Genevieve, were married 60 years.
