    1. [IASHELBY-L] Information on Maren Madsen Peterson (Petersen, Pedersen)
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/zk.2ADI/960 Message Board Post: Need info on Maren Madsen, born to Christen P. and Kirstine Albertsen Madsen on 11/21/1867 in Æro, DK. Emigrated to Kimballton, IA circa April 1874. Married Claus T Peterson (may be Petersen or Pedersen) of Shelby County. Her brothers were Mads H. Madsen and Hans C. Madsen from Kimballton. Her sister, Anne Sophie married Jens Møller Gregersen. I have a family photo, taken circa 1900, which shows what appears to be the entire Madsen family, their spouses, and offspring, but we can not be certain if one couple is Maren and Claus and their three children. Questions? Did they have three children by 1900? Were two of them perhaps twins or very close in age? What happened to them? Any information would be greatly app0reciated. I would be happy to email the picture for your historical records. Many thanks, Vern Madsen Solvang, CA
