The "Iowa Soldiers Orphans Home" and "Annie Whittmeier Home" were the same place. The other Orphanage in Davenport was "St. Vincents Home". I was a Campfire Girls Leader there in the late 1940s while I was a student at Marycrest College. Bev Hannigan, Houston, Tx.
