    1. steam boat occupation question
    2. I have three brothers in the 1880 census in Davenport who work on a steam boat. I know there were a lot of boats around back then, but does anyone have any clue as to what they may have been doing or where the boat would have taken them? After 1880, I can't find any of them and so I'm wondering if being associated with the boats may have some thing to do with that. They obviously left Davenport.... They are James, Michael, and John Tynan. (Oh, I know that Michael died in Davenport in 1899 so...I guess I know what happened to him) Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris
