Hi List, Rootsweb says there was an Iowa State Census in 1847 and has an index of Van Buren County. I tried to subscribe to VanBuren county list, but for some reason it didn't work. Would the IA-Census - Lookup have this census? Did the census list only the heads of household and number in household, and no other names? Thank you, Ruth
