A shame though, that you don't include homesteaders like my Great Grandparents Michael and Mary (Leary) Flynn who arrived in Iowa in 1854-1855 after emigrating from Rathvilly, County Carlow, Ireland in 1849. There have been lots of us Flynns in Scott County ever since.
