My grandfather Julius Schluensen emigrated form Germany about 1888, and settled in theDavenport, and Bettendorf, IA. area. He changed the spelling of his name from Schlunzen to Schluensen after he came to this country. He married Caroline Giese in 1901. His parents names wer Heinrich (Henry) Schlunzen and Louise Goetsch. Any info about this family would be most appreciated.
