Have you been able to get more information? One source might be an obituary - sometimes the newspaper obituaries were quite complete. I did a quick search and found your people in the 1880 census (the names were quite mangled as you mentioned). Also, the Porter County, IN GenWeb site shows a Marcus Breiholtz (note spelling) in a 1930 census index as in Morgan Twp, Page 133B. I don't have much on the Claussen family but do have considerable information on the Rostermund family - Peter Jacob Claussen's wife was Anna Christina Rostermund. I will continue to see what I can find. If you find anything further that might prove a connection please let me know. Thanks
