    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Dyer Cooper Nobel Rogers Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Yl.2ADE/34.1 Message Board Post: I have Coopers in my family who were from scott county Iowa and lived in Buffalo. They actually lived near Capel Hill named for the Asbury Church Chapel they attended. Chapel Hill cemetary is still there with Cooper's buried next to Dyers (my family is Dyer Cooper Nobel Rogers. The thing that caught my eye was the steamboat connection. My family had a coal mine (yes in Iowa!!) and also cut trees. It was said that they supplied the steamboats with fuel. Rockingham was the name of the city(now in Davenport) just below Asbury Church Hill. The cemetary is fenced andmaintained still and is located on Chapel Hill Road. If you are comintg off the bridge over the Mississippi going interstate 80 west it is the first left as you exit the bridge and then the first right on the road to Muscatine. Go kup the hill and the cemetary is on top of the hill on your left. You have to watch for it or you will miss it. Hope this helps./
