    3. Are they immigrants from Germany do you know? We have a great German heritage center downtown Davenport and a Mormon family history center as well. Next time I'm there I can look try and have someone look that family up. Yes, I married a Miller and my maiden name is Rossmiller. My husbands family is not originally from this area. It's a pretty common name so I like to keep my maiden name, because the Rossmiller's seem all be related and I get more family information this way.     3. As far as I know there is no one in this line from Germany.Daniel's line was Scottish and Irish (?) , but the entire line had been in America back into the 1600's. The reason that I ask about the Miller line is that Daniel,s great grandmother was a Phebe Miller of New Jersey.
