Clough and Grace ) ELECTRIC EASEMENT Clough, husband and wife ) Cons. $1.00 ) Dated October 25, 1949 to ) Ack'd October 25, 1949 ) Filed October 28, 1949 Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric ) 50 Misc. 330 Company ) Grants a right of way easement for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing, operating, maintaining and removing lines for the transmission and distribution of electric energy and for communication and electrical controls, including the necessary poles, towers, wires, guys, anchors and other appurtenances, together with the right of ingress and egress and the right to trim, cut down and remove such trees, brush, saplings and bushes as may interfere with the proper construction, maintenance, operation or removal of said lines upon, over, along and across real estate located in Scott County, Iowa, described as follows: William F. Clough's Subdivision being a Subdivision of part of the S.W. frac. 1/4 of Section 18, Township 77 North, Range 3 East of the 5th P.M., a plat of which, together with certificates attadhed thereto, is recorded in Miscellaneous Book 46, commencing at page 68 in the Recorder's Office of Scott County, Iowa, said lines shall be located on the following described strips of land: 1) On the streets, roads, drives and alleys as designated on said plat, and 2) On the Southerly 5 feet of Lots 1 to 12, inclusive and on the Northerly 5 feet of Lots 13 to 26, inclusive, and 3) On the Easterly 5 feet of Lot 19 and the Westerly 5 feet of Lot 20, and 4) On the Westerly 5 feet of Lot 55, and 5) On the Easterly 5 feet of Lot 56. Said easement shall include the right to overhang all parts of said subdivision with aerial wires and cables and also the right to place guys and anchors on and adjacent to any lot line within said subdivision. No. 42 T A X E S COUNTY 1939 to and incuding 1948 - Paid. No unpaid OLD AGE ASSISTANCE TAX affecting property under examination.
