My ggggrandmother, Elizabeth CRAIG, maiden name HASTINGS, died in Garner Township on 19 Jan 1896 at the age of 91 and was buried in Fairview Cemetery in Council Bluffs. Her obituary said she was living with her daughter Mrs. Rufus AUSTIN. I would like to find information on Rufus and his wife. If they remained there until they died, I would like to find out the date and place of death for each of them. I do not know which of Elizabeth's daughters married Rufus AUSTIN. It should be either Mary, Sarah Elvira, or Grace Mariah, and very unlikely but still possible it could be Rachel. The CRAIG family was from Mercer County, PA, and it is very likely the AUSTIN family was from western PA as well. If anyone has information about this family, please let me know. Ed Scriven
