Benjamin was a printer. The family is listed the 1870 census, Council Bluffs, Pottawattamine, Iowa. I am descended from their daughter Martha. I would like to know what happened to their other children Benjamin Jr born Utah about 1857; Arabella E born about 1859, Utah; Charles Allen born about 1862 Iowa; John P. born about 1864 Iowa and Helena born about 1864,Iowa. . I've seen reference to Arabella dying in 1875. Only Benjamin and John are listed in the 1880 Pottawattamine Iowa census. Benjamin Allen was born about 1828 in Alabama. Arabella was born 1827 in Pennsylvania. They were married May 24 1855 in Tooele Co. Utah. Thanks, Cathy
