Reed of Omaha, Neb. died at home on Fairmont avenue Friday, August 17, at 4 p. m., aged 77 years. Deceased was born at Wilksberre, Pa., February 17, 1829,; moved to Michigan when a child and again to Iowa in 1880. She had been a resident of Council bluffs for ten years. Funeral services were held from St. Francis' church at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Internment was in St. Joseph's cemetery.' "and her husband, William P. Anderson died April 04, 1904 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie Co., IA." From the Daily Nonpareil Tuesday 5 April 1904, page 2: 'William P. Anderson, aged 79 years, died yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock at his home, 1412 Fairmont avenue. Old age and paralysis are assigned as the cause of death. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from St. Francis Catholic church, Rev. Father Smythe officiating. Internment will be at St. Joseph's cemetery.
