Sorry for the confusion. The County courthouse is in Council Bluffs. Avoca has a Clerk's office, which I have visited before and obtained info. It would be better to contact the Clerk's office first at Avoca, then you can try the Courthouse at Council Bluffs. Hope that clears it up. Guess I'm not awake this morning! Mona Sarratt Knight
