A moment later three small children ran out. Mrs. O.L. Dameron, a neighbor, heard the cries and rushed to the children. "Grandma won't talk to us," they wailed. Mrs. Dameron went into the house. There, lying on her bed, was Mrs. Faith E. Main, 72. Mrs. Dameron spoke to her. She did not answer, she called Dr. Joseph Stech. He said Mrs. Main was dead of heart disease. Mrs. Main, resident of the city for twenty-six years, had been caring for Joan, 5, Ruth, 4, and Chauncey, 7, children of her son, James Lidgett. Surviving, in addition to her son, James, and his three children are her husband, William Lidgett; another son, Joseph Lidgett, Route No. 4; one brother, Henry Conklin of Red Oak, and three other grandchildren, Jack, 15, Joseph jr., 13, Don, 11, all sons of Joseph. Mrs. Main was a member of the First Christian church. The body was taken to Beem-Belford's. (There was an error in the paper- the name William Lidgett should of been listed as William Main, Faith's husband.) *************************************************************************** This is an automatically-generated notice.
