Pat, the Alexander L. Frizzell bio has quite a bit of information on Michael Frizzell. It names his father as Elijah Frizzell who was in the Revolutionary War, and goes on to say where the family migrated to, and that Michael married 3 times, and ultimately died in Lancaster Co., NE, after 1883. I'm not sure what else you are looking for, but if you can tell me what else you want to know about Michael, I'll see what I can find. There is no specific bio for Michael Frizzell in the 1891 book. I can tell you, after a quick search, that the 1870 census for Bureau Co., IL, Clarion Township, page 217 shows the following: Dwelling 112. L. L. Frizzell, 54, farmer, b. Mass. I somehow missed the first message on this family. This is the family of my great-uncle Garfie (James Garfield) Frizzell. He is shown with his parents in the 1900 Census of Center Twp., Pottawattamie Co., Iowa. J. O. Frizzell, b. Mar 1853, Ill Emma, b. May 1858, Ill Roy, b. Mar 1878, Ill Ethel, b. Jan 1881 Ill Garfield (James Garfield), b. Aug (13) 1887, Iowa Unnamed daughter, b. July 1899 J.O. and Emma had been married 23 years and had 7 children/4 living. I don't have any information on the ancestors of James Garfield Frizzell, but do know his children. Since most of them are still living, I will not post them here. James Garfield Frizzell married Emma Mae Kennedy on Feb 14, 1914. Aunt Mae is my grandmother's younger sister.
