Edgerton, Herman, 45, married once for 20 yrs, b. MI, parents both born MI, occup. teamster Edgerton, Eunice O., wife, 36, married once for 20 yrs, b. MI, father b. MI, mother b. NY, gave birth to 4 children, 3 survive. Edgerton, Leeroy, son, 16, b. IL, delivery boy for store Edgerton, Mary M., dau., 14, b. MO In the 1880 census for Day County, Montcalm, Michigan, there is a Curtiss W. Edgerton, with sons Lorenzo, William, and Herman, and daughter Marilla. The age of Herman is 16, which makes the birth date about right to be your Herman, but I'm not certain of anything else.
