Jimmie Wooten the boxer was married to a distant cousin of mine, Ruth Pace, in the mid 1930's. Ruth and Jimmie had at least one child, and were divorced. She later married a katzenstein, I think his first name was Peter. Peter Katzenstein murdered her and then killed himself, this was in Council Bluffs in 1941. I don't know the name(s) of any children they had. I do have copies of the newspaper accounts of the murder. Since the children you seek were in the 1930 census, the mother of the children were probably Jimmie's previous wife, not Ruth. Ruth was only 28 when he murdered her in 1941. Linda Montoya
