Mona, Out of curiosity, may I ask who your Father is. My brother ran around mostly with Cappy, but also with Jimmy. I met a lot of my brother's friends just before the war. My brother was Ken Kilgore, and Cappy was at Ken's house almost daily. We lived on 8th St. in Co. Bluffs. Ken and Mary ( his wife) lived in the front apt. and we lived in the back apt. I was old enough at that time to remember quite a few of Ken's friends. My brother kept in touch with Cappy until he died. Ken and Mary went to see Cappy and Josie whenever they came to Ca. I live in the Bay area, and after being up here they would go down to LA, and then on down to San Diego. Cappy died in San Diego, CA. My brother was born in 1920 and that is close to your Fathers age. I have a feeling that your Father and Ken knew each other, and no doubt went to T. J. together. Donna

They had a daughter Loretta (born about 1901) who married a Phillip Orchard (this was spelled Orchid in the 1930 census) between 1920 and 1930. In the 1930 census Loretta and Phillip were living in Council Bluffs Iowa with Mary Lichter. I have found no sign of Kleofas in the 1930 census. Can anyone help me determine if Kleofas Lichter died between 1920 and 1930 in either Omaha or Council Bluffs? Any other family information would also be helpfull on either the Lichters or Orchards from this area.
