He married Lenora Aletha Sells, b. 23 Jun 1893 in Keokuk, Lee Co., Iowa. Lenora and Herb were married between 11945-1965. We don't have a date. Herbert Telle, Sr. died 23 Jun 1893, in Omaha, NE. Lenora died 23 Oct 1976, in Omaha. Both are buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery, Omaha. Family history says that Anna Powers Telle was buried in the "catholic cemetery" in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie Co., Iowa. I have not had a chance to go there to see if her grave and that of their son, James Telle, is there. 3. Hi Jerry, I read your inquiry with interest. My situation is similar to yours. I have had no success in locating the burial site of my GGGrandmother, Lucy Hollick Yates, who died in Council Bluffs 21 Sept 1850. Two of her children also died in Council Bluffs: William Yates, died 1851; and Ann Yates died 1853 (she married a non-Mormon and did not come west). The remainder of the family came west to Salt Lake City with the John Tidwell Wagon Train of 1852. If you have any success in your search while you are in Council Bluffs, would you be kind enough to let me know so that I might know where to continue my search. I wish you success in your efforts. Thank you very much, Lynn R. Yates ly2000@att.net

    3. Hello Constance Thank you very much for your last help. I am searching for cemetery data on my 'group'. HILLEARYs and BEANs were living in Council Bluffs in the early 1800's and I have it that Nancy Hilleary and William Bean were married and raised a fairly sizable brood and were burried in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Before they passed on, their home was at 228 Harmony street, Council Bluffs IA. I have all of this from a letter, writen in 1891, passed on to me from my grandmother. She was looking for Hillearys at the time and the only Bean data is Williams birth, Jan 4,1810. I am very interested in anything about Walnut Hill and their home address. If that area is anything like it is here on the left coast , it is probably a parking lot now. Three other names are mentioned in the letter, W.E.Dickson, Rev. George A. Clark and John Mitchel Loughbridge. Anything at all .?? Thans you. maurice

    1. [IAPOTTAW] Edward Warburton
    2. Hello all, I am searching for the burial place (and any other information) of my GGGrandfather, Edward Warburton, in Council Bluffs. He was a Mormon immigrant who, with his family (Wife Sofia, son Richard 20, and daughter Mary Ann (10) ) came from Liverpool, England on the sailing ship Zetland in 1849, came up the river to St Louis, and then up to Council Bluffs. Edward contracted cholera and died in Council Bluffs on May 16, 1849. The remainder of the family stayed there for awhile, but left for Salt Lake City with the last train of 1849, that being the E. T. Benson wagon train. I hope I can find someone who can point me in the right direction to where ever such burials were done, where any documentation may be, or any other help. I am attending the Oregon-California Trails Association convention in Manhattan, Kansas during the week of August 11-15 and plan to travel on Thursday the 14th to Council Bluffs and Omaha (Florence) to check out whatever I may be able to find. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and regards, Jerry Carbiener Minden, NV GACarbiener@aol.com
