The name for my dads mom was Juanita maiden name Strutz. My grandfather had a son by first wife named Russell Cooley, I believe he had a daughter cant remember her name. Will find out more. Cooley Charles E. Cooley Vinnie C. Cooley Clyde R. Cooley Alexander Parr (father in law) (invalid) On the 1920 census both Charlotte and George are listed and in laws living Council Bluffs. On the 1930 Census on ly Charlotte is listed. I need to check them both out and see the name of the child they are living with. I have a copy of one page of the Pottawattamie Co. Ia Birth Register. vol. 1. Of course there are several other births on the page than the one I am searching. So I have birth info on the following surnames on this page. They were all born in August or Sept. 1881. Please feel free to contact me personally for the info. IA FOGG, Grace, daughter, 11, b. IA FOGG, Alva, step-son, 15, b. IA In the 1924 city directory for Council Bluffs, Fred FOGG is shown as "rooming, at 12 North 10th St." And no wife is shown. Could Grace have left him and taken the children? I don't know anything else about this family.

I somehow missed the first message on this family. This is the family of my great-uncle Garfie (James Garfield) Frizzell. He is shown with his parents in the 1900 Census of Center Twp., Pottawattamie Co., Iowa. J. O. Frizzell, b. Mar 1853, Ill Emma, b. May 1858, Ill Roy, b. Mar 1878, Ill Ethel, b. Jan 1881 Ill Garfield (James Garfield), b. Aug (13) 1887, Iowa Unnamed daughter, b. July 1899 J.O. and Emma had been married 23 years and had 7 children/4 living. I don't have any information on the ancestors of James Garfield Frizzell, but do know his children. Since most of them are still living, I will not post them here. James Garfield Frizzell married Emma Mae Kennedy on Feb 14, 1914. Aunt Mae is my grandmother's younger sister. Pat, the Alexander L. Frizzell bio has quite a bit of information on Michael Frizzell. It names his father as Elijah Frizzell who was in the Revolutionary War, and goes on to say where the family migrated to, and that Michael married 3 times, and ultimately died in Lancaster Co., NE, after 1883. I'm not sure what else you are looking for, but if you can tell me what else you want to know about Michael, I'll see what I can find. There is no specific bio for Michael Frizzell in the 1891 book. I can tell you, after a quick search, that the 1870 census for Bureau Co., IL, Clarion Township, page 217 shows the following: Dwelling 112. L. L. Frizzell, 54, farmer, b. Mass. Charlotte Frizzell, 48, b. Mass, wife The 1880 census for Bureau Co., IL, Clarion Township, page 43A, shows the following living next to each other: Michael Frizzell, age 75, b. Mass, retired farmer.
