Kane Died Friday At Estherville Home. Sister of P. P. Nolan of This City. Mrs. Will Kane, 75, sister of P. P. Nolan of this city, died at her home at Estherville shortly after midnight last Thursday. Mrs. Kane had been a resident of Estherville for the past 45 years. Funeral services for Mrs. Kane were held at Estherville at 9 a. m. Monday. A solemn High Mass was read by the pastor, Rev. J. J. Keane, with interment in the Estherville Catholic cemetery. P. P. Nolan of this city was present at the obsequies. Mrs. Kane was born in Ireland. When she was twenty years of age she came to America. The family made their home in the Emmetsburg community. Forty-five years ago Miss Mary Nolan was married in Emmetsburg to Will Kane. They located at Estherville where Mr. Kane became an employee of the Rock Island railroad. Mr. Kane passed away about four years ago. A son and daughter survive. They are W. D. Kane of Estherville, a brakeman on the Rock Island system, and Mrs. W. W. Gardner, also of Estherville. There are also two brothers and a sister. The brothers are P. P. Nolan of Emmetsburg and Michael Nolan of Canada. The sister is Mrs. M. J. Laughlin of Estherville.
