He was the son of Elmer Porter BRAGG and Hattie COOK. He had several brothers and sisters. He graduated from the high school in 1900. Married Elizabeth Adele BOWDEN on June 20, 1912 in Emmettsburg. She was the daughter of William Joseph BOWDEN and Alice Estell SCHOONOVER. Alice Estell's mother was Hester BROWN, whom I think was M. L. BROWN's sister.
