Once Lived Here. Ed McNally, accompanied by Dan McNally, was called to Rockford, Iowa, Saturday to attend the funeral of his nephew, Robert McNally, son of Alex McNally. He died Wednesday of last week at his home at Summitt, Illinois, Chicago suburb, from an injurie sustained in a switching yard accident in the Chicago & Alton yards. The sad affair occurred seven weeks ago. Mr. McNally was riding on the side of a switch engine and happened to drop off to attend to some matter. As he was jumping on again, the rear end of a passenger car, which he did not see, struck him, fracturing his skull, dislocating one of his shoulders and breaking several ribs. He lived seven weeks. He is survived by his wife, parents, three sons and two daughters. The sons and daughters are full grown. His oldest son is employed in the Chicago postoffice. Mr. McNally was 49 years of age. Per 29 to 30 years ago, when a young man, he worked for Walter Keating of Great Oak township. He was quite well known in this locality.
