She with her husband and other members of the family were there to see Mike and Heinie Marnach who were confined in the county jail on a charge of violating the fish laws. The party were about to continue their journey when Mrs. Marnach had a fainting spell and soon after passed away. The funeral services were held in Sts. Peter & Paul's Catholic Church this morning and interment was made in the St. Joe Cemetery. An obituary will be published in our next issue. Mrs. Marnach was the mother of a large family and the sacrifices she made to rear them only a mother will know. She was always solicitous about the welfare of her children and husband. A good Christian woman, Mrs. Marnach was a woman that anyone could not help but like. She was of a quiet disposition. The place she left vacant in this household can never be filled. The Journal extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved husband and children.
