Funeral services were held in the Sts. Peter & Paul's Catholic Church Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Services were in charge of Rev. P.M. Dobberstein. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery. Six grandsons served as pall bearers. Clarence and Lawrence Welter, Simon and William Bonnstetter, Raymond and Delmer Schaller. Deceased was born in Dubuque, Iowa, December 20, 1864 and was 72 yrs. 3 mos. and 4 days old at the time of his death. He was married to Anna Heiderscheidt at St. Joseph, Iowa, February 2, 1885. Mrs. Marnach passed away September 28, 1931. Ten children were born to this union - Mrs. Henry Bonnstetter of Whittemore, Iowa, Mrs. Eugene Welter of Somers, Iowa, Mrs. Anna Marti of West Bend, Mrs. Hiram Ries of Bode, Mrs. George Schaller of Humboldt, Mike Marnach of Emmetsburg, Mrs. Carl Satern of Rodman, Mrs. Lars Gabrielson of Inkster, Michigan, Henry Marnach of West Bend, and Eugene Marnach Of Whittemore. Mr. Marnach was a resident of West Bend for thirty years. Until a few years ago, he worked for the Rock Island Railroad and was retired on a pension. He was well and favorably known in this community, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Beside his children he leaves 41 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mary Dorweiler to mourn his death. The Journal extends sincere sympathy to the relatives in their bereavement. Out-of-town people who came to attend the funeral were: Mr. & Mrs. Nick Heiderscheid and daughter and son-in-law from Morgan, Minn., Mr. & Mrs. Jim Green of Humboldt, John Marnach of Algona, Mr. & Mrs. John Kohnke of Clare, Iowa, Mr. & Mrs. Archie Lansing of Bode, Iowa, Mr. & Mrs. Rudolph Naeve of Clare, Iowa, Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Thilges of Ottosen, Iowa, Mr. & Mrs. Arnold Girres of Mallard, Iowa, Mr. & Mrs. John Bonnstetter and J.
