F. Brennan and Mesdames Celia Leahy and Dan Serlock of this city received the sad news yesterday of the death of their sister, Mrs. Thomas Mugan, which occurred at her home at Jefferson Wednesday morning. Mrs. Sherlock, Mike Mugan and Mrs. A. Schuller of this place left for Jefferson last evening. The funeral will be held Friday morning. Mrs. Mugan's maiden name was Anna Brennan. She was born in Canada and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Brennan. She was perhaps 90 years of age. Mr. Mugan, who was a Civil War veteran, died about seven years ago. Mrs. Mugan's death is mourned by three sons, Mike of this city, Attorney T. A. and Dan who reside at Jefferson. Dan was for a number of years postmaster at Jefferson during the Wilson administration. Mrs. Mugan also leaves her brother, M. F. Brennan and her two sisters Mrs. Celia Leahy and Mrs. Dan Sherlock, all of this place. Heartfelt sympathy is extended to the sons, brother and sisters in their bereavement.
