My name is Carolyn Sunderman Drake. My parents are Mabel Sump Sunderman and Mervil Sunderman. On the Rurode side, my lineage includes John Herman George and Marie (Mary) Caroline Henrietta Rurode Sump. Her parents were Dietrich Heinrich Frederick (Fritz) and Marie Caroline Wilhelmine Wehmiller Rurode. Fritz Rurode’s parents were John Ludwig and Rebecca Margarethe Grieme Rurode. John Rurode’s parents were Johann Carsten Ludwig and Mette Elisabeth Meyer Rurode. Rebecca’s parents were Hermann Heinrich and Anna Dorothea Geils Grieme. Marie Caroline Wilhelmine Wehmiller’s parents were Franz Heinrich Friedrich (Fred) and Maria Elizabeth (Eliza) Meyer Wehmiller.
