She has been in poor health for a long time. She has been blind for almost three years. Through all her troubles and affliction she has displayed a patient Christian spirit. The internment took place at Davis cemetery. Clarinda Herald, Clarinda, Page, IA, June 23, 1896 --Shambaugh-- Died.-- Mr. John Stewart, Monday at 3 p.m. He had been lying very low for a long time. His wife died a few weeks ago. He died in the full hope of a happy meeting with his Savior and friends gone before. He will be interred in the Davis cemetery.
