Does anyone out there have an connection with the Horning family who lived in Page County in the late 1800s? Jacob Horning and Anna Good moved to Page County with their ten children in 1864 (there were two more children born in Page County). I believe this branch of the Horning family is related to mine, which lived across the state in Washington and Keokuk Counties. They both came originally from Spachbruecken, Starkenburg, Hesse, Germany, and settled in the same part of Pennsylvania before heading west.
