John William McLean b.18 Mar 1820 d.14 Oct 1904 b. Clarinda IA. Catherine Melissa (McAlpin) b.8 Oct 1826 d.10 Feb 1908 b.Clarinda Cemetary. Eight children 5 were born in Page Co. (Taylor, Hawleyville & Clarinda)between 1856-70. One of these children was my ggrandfather William Marshall McLean b.22 May 1859 d.16 Mar 1938 Married Nellie Jane Humphrey b.13 Sept 1872 d.11 Dec 1953. This union produced 3 sons Fred,Carl & Vern. Several McAlpins moved to the area the same time 1855-56 both families coming from Indiana. Looking for family still in Iowa and records to confirm my information. Thank you.
