Wife died Feb 1900. I think he returned to Council Bluffs, Io area. He was a farmer, and worked on tug boats between Jeff City and Council Bluffs. Would have been born about 1850. Have letters he wrote, one mentioned staying with his family around Council Bluffs. Any chance he connects to your Palmers.
