Greetings! Does anyone have easy access to the 1885 Mills County, IA census? I'm trying to locate the following individuals and, if found, receive a copy of the census sheet (with full reimbursement, of course). Lewis GROENDYKE (sometimes listed as Louis GROENDYKE/GROENENDYKE), Born 1833 in IN Mary E. (HARD) GROENDYKE, Born 1846 in NY, married Lewis in Mills County in 1865 May (GROENDYKE) CONNOLLY, daughter of Lewis & Mary, Born 1865 in Mills County, married Thomas CONNOLLY in 1886 in KS This family was living in Malvern, Mills County according to the 1880 IA census. I know that Lewis was listed as a blacksmith in Malvern, Mills County in an 1882-1883 Business Directory. By 1900, this family was living in Washington County, OR. I'm desperately trying to fill-in a few critical "blank spots" for this family during this timeframe...hoping to knock-down a brickwall or two! <smile> Deep appreciation for any help/guidance any kind soul can provide!
