Buried in Glenwood cemetary. At age 11 he moved with his parents to Appanoose county, Iowa and later they moved to Wayne Co. Iowa. Aug. 1861, enlisted in service in the Civil War and served 3 yrs. 4 mos. (P.O. at enlistment was Bellair, now Numa, Appanoose Co. Iowa). Married in 1871 to Pauline Arabella King. Survived by 1 stepdaughter, Mrs. Amy Smith of Loveland, Colorado and 3 brothers, James Lee of Palco, Kansas, Charles Lee of Colorado, Lincoln Lee of Pacific Junction, Iowa and Emma Hyde of Phelps City, Iowa." (Henry was the son of Lydia Wilson Tucker. She later married Thomas Lee on 1/11/1853 in Putnam Co. Indiana, and then John Guthrie on 1/24/1878 in Mills Co. Iowa. Any help on the Guthrie family of Mills County would be appreciated!)
Hello, I am wondering if your Henry Tucker is related to Lorena Tucker. She married an Alexander Kane. They lived in Glenwood Iowa. Could Lorena be Henry's sister?
