Margaret has uploaded the 1870 Lyons Township census tonight. Since the Search Engine is not covering all files we are glad there is an index online for this census. How many of you are using the Mills Message Boards? What is your opinion of them? These are questions being asked of Board Administrators. I know what I think but would like to have the input of anyone who thinks strongly about them -one way or another. I know that traffic is very light on these sites. Also an opinion about the pop-up advertising which seems to be annoying most people would be interesting. I really don't think it will make much difference what we think, it is a fact of life that money is at the root of all this. It takes money to maintain these kinds of sites and we just need to hope that nothing is done to jeopardize the County web sites.
