Mrs. William Etherington "Mary Isabelle Baker was born in Pacific City, Mills county Ia., March 25, 1876, and died September 18, 1916 at the Jennie Edmondson hospital from the effects of an operation for internal troubles. On November 26, 1900, Miss Baker was united in marriage to Mr. Wm. Etherington who with three brothers and two sisters, deeply mourn her death. Mrs. Etherington in the days of her youth accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and to Him she was faithful to the end. Interment was made in the Glenwood cemetery. Funeral services were held at the home, conducted by Rev. Joseph Stille. The bereaved husband desires to thank his neighbors and friends for so kindly assisting him during the sickness and death of his wife. - - - !MILLS COUNTY TRIBUNE, Sep 21, 1916 "Mrs. Will Etherington of Pacific Junction, who last week, was taken to the Edmundson hospital, died there on Monday evening, failing to rally from the effects of an operation for the removal of a tumor.
