Hi Friends, Margaret and I have taken a little vacation this month but are up and running again and hope to continue posting records which will help you in your research. Margaret and her husband flew from TN to UT to visit us for a few days this month. We made lots of plans for the future of the Mills County web site. New information on the Mills web site include the 1895 state census of Hillsdale, a small town in Center township at that time. Also we are excited to have received some records of the early branches of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mills County. These came from the Archives of the church which was recently re-named Community of Christ. If you have early LDS or RLDS ancestors or relatives, or even if you don't, you will certainly enjoy browsing through the membership records and reading descriptions of those early branches.
