Using the LDS search engine on the 1880 national census, it appears that by 1880 the Colvilles had all left Virginia. The LDS version of the census shows that many elderly Colvilles, some born in Virginia, were living in Mashaka County, Iowa, in 1880. In Mahaska are there any books of pioneer biographies that include the Colvilles, any old Colville family histories, old Bibles? I am looking for connection to the Evans, Creswell and Vance families, but any information is welcome. Sincerely, J. Mitchell
